IT Administrator / IT Application Support Specialist

Position Summary

Join our IT team to install, configure, and maintain business-critical computer systems—including clean-room and laboratory environments. You will deliver Level 1 user support, keep applications running smoothly, and ensure all changes follow established validation and testing procedures. A proactive, improvement‑minded approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

End‑User Support (Level 1)

  • Provide first‑line assistance to employees (onsite & remote).
  • Troubleshoot and configure Windows workstations, basic network connections, and common applications.
  • Coordinate hardware procurement, replacements, and secure disposal.
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory.

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Administer on‑prem and cloud systems, including Veeva Quality Suite.
  • Monitor system health, act on alerts, and resolve incidents with vendors as needed.
  • Manage laboratory PCs and production clean‑room devices; offer occasional weekend support during manufacturing runs.
  • Follow defined procedures to keep systems patched, backed up, and secure.

Validation, Documentation & Compliance

  • Create, review, and approve technical, validation, and SOP documents.
  • Execute and document test scripts during system validation and upgrades.
  • Contribute to incident/problem management workflows and maintain the knowledge base.

Continuous Improvement

  • Actively look for opportunities to streamline configuration, monitoring, and support processes.
  • Recommend performance and security enhancements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Secondary education plus entry‑level experience in system administration.
  • Working knowledge of IIS, MS SQL Server 2012+, and Git.
  • Knowledge of web‑application architecture and underlying technologies.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices (nice to have).
  • Awareness of basic information‑security requirements.
  • Analytical mindset, “common‑sense” troubleshooting, and a proactive attitude.
  • Czech (native speaker level)
  • Clear communicator in English (minimum B1).
