Daniela Rožková graduated in Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Science, Charles University Prague receiving her PhD in 2009. She started her professional career in the laboratory at the Department of Immunology, 2nd Medical Faculty at Charles University in Prague. Her PhD thesis was focused on dendritic cell and immunotherapy treatments for cancer. She was responsible for the cleanrooms and manufacturing procedure facility as well as dendritic cell treatment preparation for the first patient in the Motol University Hospital in Prague.
In 2011, she joined SOTIO as quality assurance manager responsible for the introduction of the quality management system in the GMP manufacturing facility in Prague. Later, she built the Sotio process development team and since 2016 has been the leader of quality control in addition to heading the process development team. She held these roles during multiple Phase II studies and a Phase III trial of dendritic cell therapy. In 2020-2021, she was responsible for the technology transfer of CAR-T cell product analytical methods. She has extensive experience in manufacturing as well as quality control cell therapy procedures, GMP expertise and experience in CMC writing.
