Susan earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Biology from Elizabethtown College in 1992. Her career began in sales and marketing within clinical diagnostics at a global pharmaceutical organization, supporting portfolios across cardiology, infectious disease, immunology, and drugs of abuse.

Susan Nichols serves as Fractional Chief Commercial Officer for SCTbio, bringing over 25 years of leadership in biopharma, including 14 years focused on cell and gene therapy, advanced therapeutics, and biomanufacturing. A former CEO of a genetically modified cell therapy company and seasoned C-suite operator, she has built and scaled commercial organizations across emerging biotech and global companies including Danaher/Invetech, Thermo Fisher, Hitachi Chemical, and Roche Diagnostics.
